Chilean Schranz Mafia, VOL.3

For those who still do not know Chilean Schranz Mafia, how did the project begin and what work do you currently carry out within the scene?

Chilean Schranz Mafia was born from the search for a space to make Chilean schranz visible, at a time when it stopped being a niche style and began to become more commercial. Our work is precisely that: opening a space to discover this new wave of national producers drawn to the style.

This is the third collaboration between Chilean Schranz Mafia and Inherente. What motivated you to work with us again?

We continue working with Inherente because we believe in the project and in the way they support national music. We share the same vision of supporting authentic sounds, giving space to proposals with identity and strengthening a scene that continues to grow.

We value the trust placed in us and believe that, together with Inherente, we can continue contributing to the growth of Chilean schranz and bring this sound to more people, while always maintaining the essence and identity that represent our project.

After three compilations, what do you feel has changed or evolved since the first edition?

The first compilation was the beginning of an idea. Today we feel that idea has become a project with a much clearer direction. We have improved in production, sound selection and the way we communicate what Chilean Schranz Mafia represents.

How would you describe the sound of this new compilation? Is there a common thread between the tracks, or does each artist present their own interpretation of schranz?

The common thread we follow is the energy and groove designed especially for the dance floor, but each producer is free to give their own interpretation of schranz, and that is what makes every track unique.

What were you specifically looking for when selecting the artists and their proposals?

We looked for consistency, sound quality and a professional approach from the artists.

More than simply releasing music, we look for artists with identity, aim to strengthen the scene and demonstrate that high-quality schranz with an authentic proposal can also be created in Chile.

What do you hope people feel or discover when they listen to the complete compilation?

We want them to discover that Chile also has quality artists who could become their next favourite DJs and producers.
